Recording: Webinar on quality improvement: point of care quality improvement for maternal and newborn health, 29 March 2017

This first Quality of Care Network webinar in a series on point of care quality improvement sought to explore what Quality Improvement (QI) is and how health care workers can start and establish Quality improvement at health facility level. The mainspeaker, Nigel Livesley, highlighted the organizational changes that are required, the concept of how teams can use problem solving processes and techniques in order to demonstrate and sustain improvement.

Bernadette Daelmans, team coordinator in WHO’s Department of Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health, introduced the Quality of Care Network, its conceptual framework and objectives, and its linkage with the drive towards universal health coverage. See her presentation here.
