UNICEF and the World Health Organisation (WHO) launched the Network for Improving Quality of Care for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health in Lilongwe, Malawi, 14-16 February.
Representatives from the governments of Bangladesh, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Malawi, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Uganda, as well as health decision makers, practitioners, professional associations, advocates and development partners came together and committed to improving the quality of care that pregnant women and newborns receive in health facilities.
